I don’t have to tell you that all blogs are not created equal.  Successful blogs are upfront about their content, so readers know what to expect.  In keeping with this spirit, this maiden post on the Prorsa Consulting blog is written to give you some quick insight into the company & author behind this endeavor.  Additionally, content expectations to hopefully keep the blog’s audience engaged, informed, and empowered for years to come will be shared.

Prorsa Consulting opened in 2017 to deliver sound environmental & safety management and compliance services to clients.  “Prorsa” is the feminine form of the word straightforward in Latin.  Straightforward accurately describes the company’s general business philosophy.  As such, the company strives to be honest, intelligent, and efficient in all its dealings.

 The Author

Greetings to you all!  My name is K-M. Denyse Jones, and I will serve as the primary author of this blog.  I am Prorsa Consulting’s Owner & Principal Consultant.  Even after over 15 years as an environmental & safety professional, I continue to have a passion for my work.  I am definitely a people person and am grateful to have this new opportunity to connect with a wider audience.  Moreover, I am excited about the new adventure of running my own business. 

Throughout my career, I have worked for public & private entities across multiple industries, performing diverse types EHS management.  My experiences have allowed me to see a lot of different facilities and grow skills in many subject matter areas.  I hold a B.S. in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M University (Whoop! to all my fellow Aggies) and a M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from LeTourneau University.  I am a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) and a Certified Environmental Systems Manager (CESM).  Whew . . . now that I have finished my elevator speech, let’s move on to the blog’s content.
